Well I have really enjoyed writing these short pieces, I thought I might make into a series. Some of the pieces below I free wrote with no real idea in mind. Others are inspired by songs. Please listen to the songs as it will make more sense when you read the piece.
Some of these pieces deal with some really hard stuff so please, if you are triggered by any of the following subjects, stop reading and move onto the next piece.
I got such a good response yesterday about my Stream of Consciousness that I thought I would do another one.
Again, please remember that these are raw drafts, they have not been edited. They are a result of freewriting as I listen to the songs they are inspired by. Try to listen to each song as it will make the piece much easier to understand.
Comment and let me know what you think. I may turn one of these drabbles into a proper piece of prose if people like it.
Let’s crack on.
The following are a collection of drabbles that I like to term, stream of consciousness. There is no real plot to them, I free wrote these pieces whilst listening to the songs they are inspired by. These are raw drafts, they have not been edited. For me, a stream of consciousness isn’t supposed to make sense. They are meant to be the characters immediate thoughts, feelings and ideas about a certain situation.
Please listen to the songs for each piece. It will make much more sense if you listen to the song first, then read the piece. They are all stand alone pieces.
This is one of the very first pieces I wrote when I started uni, so it is not as up to scratch as my other stories so I apologize.

This is the script I submitted as part of my Screen Writing module at uni.
Please bear in mind that this is a script, not a piece of prose. The program I used to write it is called Celtx, it puts into a script format for me. This was written to be performed.
The Premise for this script is as follows,
It’s a race against time for DI Cole and DS Taylor to save a young DC before the past catches up with them.
If you have any questions about this piece, please do not hesitate to contact me.

This is part of a task for uni where we had to come up with five shirt stories, pick one and write about it.
