I'm Rebecca Yeomans. I'm a writer and amateur photographer. I live in a small village in picturesque Derbyshire, which is renown for its beautiful landscapes and stunning views.
I'm currently an undergraduate student studying Creative Writing at the University of Derby.
I tend to write romantic period drama, specifically set during the two world war.. However, I dabble in crime fiction and comedy when I can. I have recently been writing in the genre of realism, which focuses on the modern day and real life situations.
I mainly read romantic period drama as described above, but do read some fantasy and science fiction.
I take much of my inspiration from the world around me. From landscapes to people watching to current affairs, I take these elements and transform them into something new. I take past experiences and people I know and incorporate them into my stories
I'm visually impaired, but still have some useful sight which I'm putting to good use. I can often be found in cafes drinking tea with my Guide Dog Yahska.
Feel free to browse my creations and please take a moment out of your day to share.
Onwards and upwards.
