I'm Rebecca. I'm a writer, editor, proof-reader, and amateur photographer. I live in a small village in picturesque Derbyshire, which is renown for its beautiful landscapes and stunning views.
I graduated from the University of Derby with a First Class honours degree in Creative Writing.
I graduated with a Masters degree in Creative Writing at Nottingham Trent University.
Now, I'm starting my PhD in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I am a crime, contemporary and comedy writer specialising in script and prose.
I also work in copy editing and writing as well as proof reading.
I take much of my inspiration from the world around me. From landscapes to people watching to current affairs, I take these elements and transform them into something new. I take past experiences and people I know and incorporate them into my stories.
I'm visually impaired, but still have some useful sight which I'm putting to good use. I can often be found in cafes drinking tea with my Guide Dog Yahska.
Feel free to browse my creations and please take a moment out of your day to share.
Onwards and upwards!
